　　報告摘要： 

　　The problem of sequential recommendation aims on finding and recommending statistically relevant temporal structures where the values are delivered in a sequence. This is a fundamental problem in data mining with diversified applications in many science and business fields, such as multimedia analysis (motion gesture/video sequence recognition), marketing analytics (buying path prediction), and financial modelling (trend of stock prices). Given the overwhelming scale and the heterogeneous nature of the sequential data, new techniques for sequential recommendations are required to derive competitive advantages and unlock the power of the big data. Indeed, in this talk, we aim to introduce the approaches for mobile sequential recommendations across different application domains that take into account both temporal and spatial nature of mobile data, as well as other types of contextual information.　　 

　　報告人介紹： 

　　熊輝，新澤西州立大學商學院教授，國家基金委海外杰青獲得者、美國羅格斯－新澤西州立大學正教授（終身教授）、博士生導師，羅格斯商學院管理科學與信息系統系副系主任、羅格斯大學信息安全中心主任，ACM杰出科學家。分別于中國科技大學、新加坡國立大學、美國明尼蘇達大學獲得學士、碩士和博士學位。熊輝教授一直致力于移動數據挖掘、大數據分析、商務智能、推薦系統、信息安全等領域的科學研究，主持過多項國家級項目基金，其中包括美國國家科學基金（NSF）、中國國家自然科學基金（NSFC）海外及港澳學者合作研究基金、德國政府基金等。近年來在國際權威期刊和會議上共發表高水平學術論文180余篇，SCI收錄100余篇。擔任國際數據挖掘頂級會議ACM KDD-2012、IEEE ICDM-2013程序委員會主席，第29屆中國數據庫學術會議和IEEE ICDM-2015大會主席，擔任IEEE Transaction on Data and Knowledge Engineering，Knowledge and Information Systems (KAIS) Journal等國際期刊編委。在工業界，熊輝教授和眾多世界500強企業開展過重要商務智能合作研究項目，其中包括Citrix Systems Inc.、IBM、華為、SAP等。此外，熊輝教授還擔任中國證券業協會互聯網證券專業委員會和中國房地產評估協會顧問。因對大數據/數據挖掘領域的突出成就和影響力，熊輝教授在2014年當選ACM杰出科學家 。
